Day 1: ARRIVAL BARCELONA (15km – 30min)
Arrive at Barcelona via flight, ferry or train. A representative holding a sign displaying your name will be waiting to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure enjoying the highlights of Barcelona. Visit the Old Town, enjoy some tapas while soaking up the atmosphere of Passeig de Gracia, or relax on the beach or in a bar overlooking the sea at Port Olímpic before your busy days of sightseeing ahead (own expense).

Day 2: BARCELONA: ARTISTIC BARCELONA TOUR
Introduce your day with breakfast at the hotel and then head out to explore Barcelona. Start the tour from the office Julia Travel office, next to Sagrada Familia (311 Sardenya Street). Remember you must check in at least 15 minutes before the starting time of the activity. An experienced guide will pick you up from the office and walk you to the Basilica. Discover the ultimate must-see landmark in Barcelona. Learn about the history and significance of Sagrada Familia by the hand of your local guide. Marvel at the astonishing interior, rich in symbolism inspired on natural wonders. Walk freely around the nave whilst listening to your guide’s explanations of Gaudí’s masterpiece on your headsets. Take in all the details of the perfect fusion between architecture and spirituality. Tour the outside façades and wonder at the magnificence of details. Board an air-conditioned coach for a short trip to Park Güell, located in the upper part of the city. Enjoy a guided tour of the park and discover why it is one of the most emblematic works by Gaudí. Wonder at the magnificent skills of Gaudí and its organic style displayed all over the park. Did you know the Park is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO? Get back on the bus for a short ride to Paseo de Gracia. Accompanied by your guide, you'll take a walking tour along this important street in Barcelona, where you'll find two important works of Gaudí: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, where we'll end the tour, just 10 minutes walking from Plaza Cataluña.

Day 3: BARCELONA: ON YOUR OWN
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a day at your leisure exploring the main attractions of the city. Enjoy Barcelona's most famous street, La Rambla. From there, you can visit the city’s famous food market, La Boqueria, where you will have the opportunity to taste some of the local produce; take your pick from fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, cheese or any type of meat imaginable. Continue through the Gothic Quarter, where you will discover the architecture, language and gastronomy unique to Spain and Barcelona; some of the gourmet shops are over 100 years old! Here, you can sample cured meats at a shop specialized in Iberian ham and a selection of delicious, local tapas in any of the restaurants. Make your own way back to the hotel or stay out for another glass of wine (own expense).

Day 4: DEPARTURE BARCELONA (15km – 30min)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your final day in Spain’s most celebrated tourist destination by visiting museums or galleries, purchasing souvenirs to remind you of your trip, or simply strolling through its historic, bustling streets (own expense). At the indicated time, transfer to the airport. Although it’s time to say goodbye to this magnificent city, the memories created here will last a lifetime.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Spain. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent in summer can be very useful during your stay.
